Nurse Practitioners

Ivy Lee, PMHNP

Hi there!

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and have been in the psychiatric industry for about ten years. I was passionate about mental health around the age of 18 and decided to work as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to see if this was the field for me.

I was a BHT for two years working at a drug rehab facility and a psychiatric inpatient unit. My passion for psychiatric care further blossomed, and decided that my nursing career will be psychiatric-centered.

I got accepted into Florida International University’s program for PMHNP, and graduated with my Masters in 2020. I started practicing since then, and have been enjoying every minute of it.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, going out to eat, and doing some crafty stuff. I occasionally sell handmade jewelry, and attend farmer’s market to vendor.

Jermilla Augustin, PMHNP

As a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide compassionate and evidence-based care to patients with various mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. I currently work remotely through an online platform that offers convenient and affordable access to mental health services.

I have over 13 years of experience in mental health in various settings such as hospital, rehab and emergency room. I completed my PMHNP degree from Walden University in 2021, where I learned the latest clinical practices and research in the field. My core competencies include medication management, patient education, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention. I am motivated by the quote "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" by Mahatma Gandhi, and I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of my patients and their families.
